For more than 40 years, HILINE Helicopters Inc has supported city, state and federal agencies, contractors, utilities, landowners and private clients with specialized helicopter services. From our base in Ball Ground, Georgia, we operate across the United States and Alaska. We bring the same commitment to safety and precision to every job, whether it is a rooftop lift in a congested downtown or a timber extraction on a remote mountain slope.

HILINE Helicopters Inc holds FAA Part 133 and Part 135 operating certificates. Our fleet includes UH-1 Huey helicopters for heavy external load work and Bell JetRanger helicopters for personnel transport, reconnaissance and charter flights. Years of operating in the remote, demanding terrain of the Cascade Mountains have shaped how we plan and fly every mission. Explore our services below to find the right fit for your project.

When ground equipment can’t reach a site, or can’t reach it efficiently, our longline crews can lift, place and recover loads with precision. We handle precision longline and vertical reference operations, power line construction including HEC operations, concrete delivery and drying, and rooftop HVAC change-outs. We also handle aircraft and property recovery from remote or hard-to-reach locations. For lifts over populated areas, we develop Congested Area Plans (CAP) and coordinate closely with your ground crew from planning through final placement.

HILINE Helicopters Inc supports forestry contractors, landowners and wildlife agencies with work that is difficult or costly to complete from the ground. Our heli logging operations assist with timber extraction, storm salvage, hazardous tree removal and wildfire fuels reduction on steep or sensitive terrain. Helicopter extraction can reduce the need for new access roads and limit soil disturbance. We serve forestry projects throughout the Southern Appalachians and the western United States. We also provide aerial seeding and fertilizing for reforestation and land restoration, along with aircraft-mounted telemetry and animal capture for wildlife research and management.

When conditions are dangerous and access is limited, our crews provide the aerial support emergency teams rely on. HILINE Helicopters Inc performs mountain rescue and shorthaul operations to reach people in terrain ground teams cannot quickly access, along with medical and emergency evacuations. We also support agencies with firefighting and suppression operations and avalanche control that help protect communities, roadways and recreation areas.

Our helicopter charters serve business travel, special events and private occasions with flexible scheduling and experienced pilots. We also offer aerial photography for a wide range of projects. For outdoor enthusiasts, we fly guests into the backcountry for heli-skiing and snowshoeing, as well as heli-hiking, heli-fishing and mountain biking adventures.

With over four decades of experience, HILINE Helicopters Inc has earned the trust of public agencies, corporate clients and private citizens alike. Our crews plan each operation around the site, the load and the people on the ground. That attention to detail is why customers across the country call us for work that requires skill, specialized equipment and a strong safety record.
